Incanto Deluxe
The new Saeco Incanto super-automatic coffee machine offers an elegant design and impressive coffee quality

September 1, 2016

Berlin, Germany – At this year’s Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA), taking place in Berlin, Germany, from September 2-7, Royal Philips (NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHIA) is presenting innovations that empower people to live healthier lives across the health continuum, from healthy living to prevention, diagnosis, treatment and home care.

Hamburg - The new Saeco Incanto Deluxe sets a new standard in its class and convinces design- and coffee experts at the same time. The robust stainless steel front in the variations Silver and Titanium, the clear LCD display and comfortable buttons provide the perfect balance between elegance, intuition and high-quality technology from Italy. Thanks to the new premium integrated milk carafe, with a handle made of stainless steel, it is visually a real highlight. The Saeco Incanto Deluxe delivers six specialty coffees at the touch of a button and the premium integrated milk carafe with LattePerfetto technology guarantees a creamy milk froth. Using the 5-step adjustable, durable 100 percent ceramic grinder and memo function you can create coffee, espresso, cappuccino or latte macchiato to suit your personal taste. Thanks to the patented Aqua Clean filter the machine does not need to be decalcified for up to 5,000 cups[1]. Pure water in combination with the new Saeco Selezione Nobile coffee beans, which perfectly match Saeco super-automatic coffee machines, bring coffee pleasure to a new level. These premium models are commercially available from September.

"For many people, the kitchen is the center of their home. The demands on a super-automatic coffee machine are equally as high: in addition to excellent coffee quality, a high-quality, yet compact design is key in the purchase decision" said Florian Schumann, Senior Marketing Manager Full Auto & Manual Espresso Philips. "We can more than meet these desires with the further development of our successful Incanto Series" said Schumann continued.

Comfortable and individual

The quick heating boiler shortens the preparation time and delivers espresso with optimal temperature. Thanks to the memo function, the desired cup volume and temperature can be stored. In addition, the grinder settings can be adjusted in five levels, from fine to coarse, which will give you a more intense or smoother aroma. Practical is the powder option that allows, for example, to prepare decaffeinated coffee. The patented Latte Perfetto technology froths the milk twice at the touch of a button and ensures a splash-free pouring of wonderfully dense, creamy and hot milk froth directly into the cup. This is made possible by the unique dual-chamber premium integrated carafe with milk frother, which also has an automatic cleaning cycle. The bean container has a capacity of 250 grams, the coffee grounds container can hold 15 servings and the water tank 1.8 liters. The brewing unit is easily removable for cleaning.

No descaling for up to 5000 cups!

The often disliked maintenance and cleaning processes become easier with the patented Aqua Clean Filter. It reduces the build-up of lime scale and at the same time purifies the water used by the machine. Through the Click & Go system, the filter can be easily placed in the water tank. The filtering process is significantly improved by two elements. On the one hand, the ion exchange technology removes the calcium-ions responsible for calcification in the machine. On the other hand, a micro-porous filter filters out any impurity. The patented water flow ensures deeper water purification for a more authentic coffee taste. If the Aqua Clean filter is replaced at machine request, the machine should not be decalcified up to 5.000 cups[2].

It all starts with the best coffee beans

Perfect coffee taste depends on many different factors. In addition to high water quality and high-quality coffee beans, the settings of the super-automatic machine for your favorite drinks are crucial. As of September Saeco brings two finely selected coffee beans variants in the market: Saeco Selezione Nobile Café Crema Dolce and Saeco Selezione Nobile Espresso. They offer the highest, most consistent product quality thanks to individual roasting of coffee beans and thorough selection across production. Italian experts recommend on every package the perfect settings for Saeco super-automatic machines, so that consumers can prepare their favorite coffee moments. The beans are from high-altitude areas, where they grow slower and for longer, thus giving time for the rich flavors to concentrate in them. Saeco Selezione Nobile coffee beans is available from September at selected retailers in packs of 1000 or 250 grams. Saeco Selezione Nobile Café Crema is 100 percent Arabica, while Saeco Selezione Nobile Espresso is 60 percent Arabica and 40 percent Robusta.
