Products once considered unusable have become an opportunity. Used products can be given new life through repair or refurbishment or they become a resource of materials for new products. For example, many charities, community programs and schools are in need of used consumer electronic equipment, consider donating or selling used electronics before recycling old products. Before donating such products, check with the organization to obtain the criteria for accepting used electronics. Used consumer products not working may be repairable to extend its life. Also, some commercial products can be refurbished by Philips under the Philips Diamond Select program. For products that cannot be repaired, consider recycling the products as the next best alternative.
For detailed information on how to properly recycle Philips products, please select a recycling service from the list below. For commercial products, information about the Philips Diamond Select products can be found here.
More information about used commercial products and access to their recycling passports, which provide safety information to recyclers, can be found here.
